Your Beautiful Sacred Life

Recently I watched a video of a Native American artist in the process of beading an intricate design.  Her fingers moved deftly picking up the tiny beads with her needle and placing them on the fabric.  As she worked, the exquisite flower and leaf motif emerged out of emptiness.  God works in our lives in that same way.  There are times when we feel confused, not sure of our purpose, nor knowing what is meaningful.  We may feel we are wandering in a void.  Yet our spiritual identity, our Christ within, knows exactly who we are and where we are headed.  As we reach out for God, the Divine picks up the beads of our lives—our interests, our hopes, our talents, our vision—and deftly arranges them into a stunning work of art.  Relax into the capable, loving Hands of God and allow your soul purpose to express and take shape.  Honor the sacredness of your own life, your sacred purpose, and the sacred life in all creation.  You and your beautiful sacred life are needed.  All is well.

In the Love and Light of the Christ,

Rev. Anna
