Well Digging

“Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

I shared an article during the Wednesday evening meditation, Well Digging, by Rev. Mary Kupferle, (1916–2003) a prominent Unity minister in Florida whose articles appeared in Unity Magazine®, Daily Word®, and other Unity publications beginning in 1944.  These statements really resonated with me:

O God, thank You for helping me be a good well digger as I learn the spiritual techniques of digging deep and opening up new wells of life, strength, and healing power.

Within the soul, there are areas that have never been touched—lands of the Spirit we have not yet discovered where wellsprings flow.

With the holidays around the corner we are entering into a busy time of year. Our schedules may get full with all the activities of the season and spending time with family. All things that might push the limits of our patience, and I am grateful for a spiritual path that keeps me grounded, keeps me open to the flowing wellsprings of good.

During this time of giving thanks, I focus my attention on all the blessings in my life. Those that have been, those that are, and those that are coming. As I dig deeper into that inner wellspring within, connecting with the Source of all that is, I learn to let flow the peace, love, and joy already within me. I am a divine being in the flow.

Love, Light, & Sparkles,

Rev. Carol
