This Amazing New Year!
“Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.” Revelation 2:17
2019 is the ground in time and space where we will express our spiritual intention–the White Stone name we each heard our Christ within speak to us last Sunday. Our new name is our invitation to think in spiritually expansive ways and allow what we bring to fruition to come from there. We are nourished with the strength and courage to fulfill these God given aspirations by the “hidden manna,” our connection with our spiritual life. As we live into 2019, we take it one day at a time developing our relationship with God and thus with ourselves. The miracle is that as we do this, we also experience our relationships with other people harmonizing. We find we are in our true place with the true people fulfilling our true purpose. We realize ever more fully that God is Good–all the time!
2019 holds for me a delightful experience that is an expression of my White Stone name and one that I know will open my consciousness to depths I have never yet imagined. It requires me to gear up my spirit of adventure and courage to explore! I will be participating in the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center’s Peacemaker’s Pilgrimage to the Holy Land later this month. The LMPC, with whom I have studied extensively, teaches healthy congregations and conflict resolution courses for churches and works with international groups. On this pilgrimage we will visit the significant sites related to Jesus’ ministry, participate in educational seminars, and visit with Palestinian Christian groups. I am excited about this trip and am preparing by reading on both the history and current situation in the area. It will be an experience that deeply enriches me as a minister and expands my capacity for transformative Unity ministry. I know the Christ Presence has much to reveal to me! I look forward to sharing with you upon my return. Thank you for your many prayers and blessings already shared with me. I take your love to the Holy Land and return with it multiplied.
In the Love and Light of the Christ,
Rev. Anna
