The Gift of 2020

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and so are the skins; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins.”

Mark 2:22

2020 has been a year of letting go of old wineskins.  We hit multiple bottoms where old consciousness that has restricted, harmed, and divided produced sad and inevitable crises.  It has been painful.  No one can pretend otherwise.  Distressing though they have been, these breakdowns are a sign that a higher, more loving way of being is rising.  The old ways can no longer contain the emerging aliveness.  It’s an exhilarating time to be a human being.  We are called to connect with our deepest faith and our most beautiful dreams.  We are beckoned to practice our spiritual understanding and refine our ability to create from Spirit.

We are one with the upward, progressive movement of life.  We are participating in bringing forth a community, country, and world that express the Jesus Christ consciousness of love, abundance, and oneness.  We are committed to expansion of our expression of the Christ in, through, and as us – in thought, word, and action.

Join me in gratitude – thank You God for the gift of being present at this time in history.  We are guided and empowered by Your Love.  We hold this consciousness for ourselves and for all our fellow participants in Unity of Austin and all people everywhere.  We see abundance, love, and fulfillment for everyone in our greater Austin community, our country, and the world.  We give thanks for a world of love, a world of abundance.

In Gratitude for the Gift of 2020,
Rev. Anna
