Sacred Pause

He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.—Psalm 23:2-3

I don’t know about you but I sometimes can get quite exhausted by the end of the day. So many things that seem to need my attention, and many things that I’m just plain distracted by. I can easily get so wrapped up in what I think should get done that I become overwhelmed in the process.  It is a reminder that I have not taken that sacred pause, I have not connected to the Source of my Energy, God.

My willingness to pause and connect to the Divine within has an impact on my energy. And my energy has an impact on all those I come into contact with.  I know that to fill up my tank and let that divine energy flow sometimes means letting go of to-do lists, saying no to more demands on my time and yes to more rest and relaxation. It means being willing to trust that God’s got this and is guiding me to do only that which needs to be done that day. Not always easy, yet when I listen and act on that guidance I find more energy and joy to do that which is mine to do.

Taking that sacred pause is a gift I give myself. I invite you to gift yourself with more moments of sacred pauses.

Love, Light & Sparkles,
