Salary: $55K+
Housing: Onsite apartment or manse allowance

The salary and benefits package is negotiable, dependent on years of experience, etc., and will be discussed with potential candidates.
Description: Unity Church of Austin is seeking an ordained Unity minister to fill the position of Senior Minister. Unity of Austin is a growing, thriving, joyful, loving, prosperous, Christ-conscious community where all families and all people are welcome.
We are looking for a minister who is:
- Grounded in Unity principles and actively applies these beliefs in their everyday life, has a deep understanding of biblical metaphysical theology, keeps up with current spiritual literature and Unity classics, and integrates these thoughts and ideas into sermons, classes, and written communication.
- Compassionate and empathetic, listens to and cares for each individual in the congregation, and gets along well with everyone.
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully, maintain boundaries, hold confidences, follow through on commitments, deliver uplifting Sunday talks, and conduct inspiring classes.
- A good leader who can inspire, motivate, and grow the congregation, understands the business side of the church, and can hire, train, and manage church staff.
- Mindful and prayerful in their own life, leads the congregation in meaningful prayer and meditation, and feels comfortable praying with individuals in times of joy and grief.
Unity of Austin is located in beautiful southwest Austin, on the fringe of the hill country, with multiple lakes, parks, and hike and bike trails close by. Austin has some of the best Mexican food, barbecue, and vegetarian restaurants – at least we think so. And it is the LIVE MUSIC capital of the world! Austin is a college town, with multiple opportunities for continuing education. The members of Unity of Austin are spiritual, enthusiastic, and willing to try new things.
