The greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to our world is claiming our spiritual potential for love, abundance, and service. Consciously aware of God’s Presence in our lives, we are guided to celebrate the aspirations that live within us. Knowing we are one with God’s Power we choose to use our talents and zeal to fulfill those aspirations. Fulfilling our lives expands the good for all people. We shine love and acceptance and we open the way for others to do the same.
Unity of Austin, together with the Silent Unity Prayer Ministry at Unity Village, Unity congregations, and Daily Word readers around the world, celebrates Unity’s 24-Hour World Day of Prayer. The vigil began at 7 PM Wednesday evening with a Prayer and Healing Service here at Unity of Austin. We will continue to participate in this uplifted global prayer consciousness through 8 PM, Thursday, September 12. Wherever you are–in your own home, at work, at play, or driving from one place to another, we invite you to join Unity in prayer. It can be as simple as taking a moment to express gratitude or utilizing the affirmation and prayer below for a time of focused meditation. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, participate. 2019 World Day of Prayer Guiding Prayer – I celebrate the vast possibilities for my life.
Breathing in to prayer, I am in awe of the unbound spirit, the in¬finite presence within and around me. God is vitality in my breath, beauty in the natural world, strength in my determination, and compassion in my acts of service. I recognize God in the spaciousness of the universe as well as in my limitless dreams. Let me set my sight beyond where I have seen before, into the vast reality of divine power and presence. Let me draw upon divine power and presence in order to ful¬fill my great potential. In the harmony of prayer, my heart beats to the rhythm of God. The pulse of in¬finite life moves me, nourishes me, and empowers me to give life to my dreams.
