Full Fruits of the Harvest –
I am thrilled to be going on spiritual retreat in a place that has long been in my heart–the Isle of Iona. I will be with you this Sunday, October 22, as we focus on trusting God and stepping out, then begin my sacred adventure later that week. Iona is a tiny island off the southwest coast of Scotland in the Inner Hebrides. It is most well known as being the cradle of Christianity in Scotland, the original Iona Abbey having been founded by St. Columba in 563. Today an ecumenical community continues the tradition of Iona Abbey as a place of worship. I will be participating in retreats that stir my soul – engaging with singing from the heart and a deep dive into the Beatitudes. You too will be growing and having your soul stirred during this time. Rev. Allen Liles, a Unity minister who has recently retired back to his home town of Temple, Texas, will be sharing his rich consciousness with you on October 29 and November 05. Rev. Allen is author of the book Sitting With God: Meditating for God’s Divine Guidance and the CD The Peaceful Driver: Steering Clear of Road Rage. He has also been my guest on Spirit of Recovery, most recently on October 03. You can find the link on our Unity Church Austin FB page or at www.unityonlineradio.org/program/spiritofrecovery. On November 12, Pastor Carol Moncada will bless Unity of Austin with her loving, soul-full spirituality and light. Pastor Carol brings the authenticity of her spiritual walk and heart for service. Her presence here at Unity of Austin supports the Christ Life of this ministry and always brings joy! As we move farther into this autumn season we are reminded by nature that it is indeed time to let go and move forward to fulfillment of all that is within us. We are grateful for the color and beauty of summer, honoring it by saying yes to the full fruits of our inner harvest. We let go of anything that makes us feel separate from God and make room for new closeness and love. Take time apart to honor your sacred journey–take time for your harvest of good.
In the Love and Light of the Christ,
Rev. Anna
