So Much Goodness –

Faced with a knotty situation we may fixate on, “What’s the right thing to do?” We search our mental closets for answers.  We survey our friends.  We cry out for the remedy.  Our frustration mounts.  We are hunting for a solution in the world of effects; looking to solve the problem at the level of the problem.  Now and then we may find relief, but we will never find a permanent solution.  Solutions lie in the realm of Spirit.  Authentic spirituality never tells us what to do.  It invites us to remember who we are.  From the fullness of knowing that love is always available and that God’s world hums in Divine Order, we look with clean eyes.  The knot melts or shrinks.  Our brother poet Walt Whitman speaks from the wideness of his soul, “I am larger, better than I thought; I did not know I held so much goodness.” Ahhh…

In the Love and Light of the Christ,
