Jesse Powers - Concert

Jesse Powers, originally hailing from Sumter, South Carolina, is a self-proclaimed “Joy Reminder-er” and touring new thought musician now based in Columbus, OH. She shares her music at country-wide spiritual gatherings and in the Unity and Centers for Spiritual Living communities, and often graces stages, livingrooms, and backyards with her live solo concerts. Full of insightful songs and the hilarious and poignant stories that inspired them, a night (or day!) with Jesse’s music leaves listeners feeling playful, nourished, healed, and whole.

Jesse is also a frequent guest singer with several bands in town, including the famed Columbus Irish group, The Drowsy Lads. She can be seen performing her original music at venues around Columbus and across the country, as well as with Jesse Michael Barr under their duo, Jesse + Jesse, and now with the local Irish/Americana group, Beir Bua and the jazz project Peregrine Quartet. Her song “The Love Song of Everything” was a finalist in the 2021 Great American Song Contest and was nominated for a Positive Music Award in 2022.
