January 6 is Epiphany, also known as The Feast of Epiphany or Three Kings’ Day and is celebrated by Christians around the world. In the Western Christian churches this celebration commemorates the visit by the Magi to the infant Jesus.
Epiphany means “manifestation of the Divine”. We often use it when we have had an illuminating discovery, a realization or experience. We have all had epiphanies – something that has suddenly become quite clear. The challenge isn’t that we don’t have them, it’s the allowing that epiphany to become a guiding star for us and not cloud it over with our fears, our doubts, our old belief systems. I believe epiphanies are those moments when we “hear” or “feel” Spirit, that still small voice of God within us.
My intention for this new year is to allow those epiphanies to be my guiding star. To allow that light to dissipate the clouds so that I may live more boldly into the manifestation of the Divine. I invite you into the journey with me in allowing the manifestation of the Divine within you to express more fully!
Happy New Year and endless possibilities!
