“…to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.”
Romans 8:6b
“But my darling, there’s no such thing as the light at the end of the tunnel—you must realize that you are the light.”

How often have you wished that someone would come by and rescue you from whatever distressing circumstance you are in at the moment? Be honest now. All of us have wished that – and more than once! We long for rescue when we feel helpless and alone. What’s the antidote? It is to discover spiritual Truth and let it become active in us.
The human consciousness looks to the outside. It measures life by ups and downs, ins and outs. It is forever tossing on the waves of events. It looks around and thinks, “I’m all alone in this dark place. I’d better go out there and grab some light from somebody!” By contrast the consciousness that is awake to spiritual Truth looks within and says, “Ah, I am alive. I am at peace. I am filled with light.” With that reassurance the Christ-awake person becomes still, makes choices, and acts from constructive power.
Where are you friend? Have you yet discovered the Christ power within you? It isn’t a one- time event, though there is often a sense of first awakening. Spiritual power becomes activated over time as we choose daily to turn to it. We know that spiritual power by its love, creativity, graciousness, and constructive action. While early on the Christ within may seem separate from us, we come to realize that it IS us. The Christ expresses through our thoughts as hope and faith, through our heart as love, and through our soul as fulfillment of our divine purpose. Set your mind on life and peace. You can do this for you are that life, peace, and light. You are the overcomer.
